There’s a common irreverence when it comes to the journey and politics of food nowadays–and our goal with the branding of this Summit was to flip the script. Serendipity struck when we chose to fit two slices of tomato into an empty frame of reading glasses. In asking students to literally “change their perspective” on food, we found the perfectly relevant—and Italian—hero that we were looking for.
